Queens Road Medical Centre is an accredited training Practice for GP Registrars. GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors with several years of hospital experience who have chosen General Practice as their chosen career. These doctors spend up to a year at the Practice in order to complete their training.
We also have Foundation Year 2 (FY2) doctors at the Practice. These are qualified doctors at an earlier stage in their training, often before they have decided on their chosen medical speciality. They may spend up to 4 months in the Practice in order to gain experience of General Practice.
We are also part of the Barts and London Medical School training program. Medical students at various stages in their training spend selected days at the Practice learning about Medicine, General Practice and Community Care.
